Savino BEE Leadership Development Project - A Leadership Development Case Study
Abstract

Savino del Bene is an international logistics company who is developing the leadership of the company according to the transformational goals and guidelines of South Africa. Neuro-Link in alliance with The Empowerment Academy are the leadership development consultants empowering Savino to achieve their transformation goals. 

Actions Taken
  • Current leaders are empowered with emotionally intelligent skills by going through 9 unique brain-based modules that consist of 6 intrapersonal competencies and 6 interpersonal competencies over a period of 9 months.

 

  • Secondly, participants receive executive coaching for one year, to ensure on the job application of the emotional intelligence and leadership skills.

 

  • All executives are then trained as coaches to impart their knowledge and skills to the emerging leaders.

Results Achieved

After above measures were taken, the following results were achieved:

 

  • Behavior changes in mindsets of the executive team members changed to a general optimistic mindset that also cascaded into a more positive impact on company culture

 

  • Executives also reported increased social cohesion and more effective functioning of the team

 

  • Bonusses based on performance and productivity at the end of this intervention was paid

 

  •  Participants rated the intervention that was done by the Kirkmax evaluation program as 84%, which means that this leadership experience produced a commendable performance!
