Dr. André Vermeulen
Dr. André Vermeulen is the CEO of Neuro-Link, a company utilizing brain-based learning and development to increase performance and maintain wellness. He is a workplace learning specialist who empowers people and organizations with practical skills, assessments and tools to become more of who they can be. André has conducted pilot studies with various companies and organizations, of which mention was made in international publications. He has published various leading articles on the development implications of the brain and mental health.
As an international motivational speaker and trainer, André has presented papers at more than 30 international conferences. He has also been invited to contribute on the TEDx platform. He is regularly a guest of many radio and television talk shows and hosts his own television program called “Breinkrag”. André is fortunate to live his passion.
Nadine Vermeulen
Nadine Vermeulen is the Managing Director of Neuro-Link. Her life purpose is to prepare others for the greatness of God’s purpose for their lives by assisting them to become the best they can be. She is also an educator and learning specialist with a passion to ignite the potential of people by empowering them with brain-based information and skills that will improve their performance.
Her entrepreneurial skills, business savvy and management skills were developed as headmaster of two private schools. Her contribution towards society includes raising four healthy children who will contribute to this world, managing a company that adds value to people’s lives and writing articles on the subject of brain-based learning and development as well as conducting development sessions with people.
Penny Heyns
Honorary Member
Penny Heyns. As an international swimmer, Penny Heyns established herself as the world’s greatest female breaststroker of the 20th Century by becoming the only woman in Olympic history to win both the 100 and 200 meter breaststroke events in Atlanta 1996, bronze in Sydney 2000 and by breaking a total of 14 individual world records during her career. She is still the only Breaststroke swimmer, male or female, in the history of swimming to break world records in all three possible distances, namely the 50m, 100m and 200m. Her achievements brought her personal audiences with Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s beloved “Madiba”, and catapulted her into the world of sporting celebrity.
While she spent much of her time in the United States and Canada, her heart remained in South Africa, where she now lives. She has not, however, just excelled as a sports woman in the international arena, but has established herself, after her retirement in 2001, as a business woman, guest television presenter, and a sought after Inspirational speaker. André and Penny have developed a platform called mental power to inspire and empower, sharing their experiences with real life examples applicable to the world of business, sport and education.
